Considering the increasing issues of clean and freshwater, our teamwork tirelessly to establish water resource and/or purify water to reduce parasites and waterborne disease. Water born illness threatens the whole family but children are affected the most and sometimes lead to death.
Sanitation relates to health proper sanitation is possible only if people get enough clean water to use. India is aiming to become an open defecation free country by October 2019. “Properly designed and constructed toilets with washrooms for women, together with the essential component of education around sanitation and hygiene practices, are key to making India an open defecation free country,” says Jim Baldwin, Just a Drop’s Project Engineer for India.
We help to build toilets in villages and schools. Women and young girls in Indian villages prefer to have the safety, security, and privacy they wish for, firstly for bathing and then they gradually start to use the toilet. All these efforts to provide clean water and proper sanitation facilities change the culture of the village and other communities.
